Imperative mood in Korean

Verb + 십시오 / 으십시오

십시오 - if a word ends in a vowel or ㄹ, 으십시오 - if it ends in a consonant (except ㄹ)

In Korean language, -십시오 / -으십시오 and all other sentence endings that you see below, are used to give commands or ask someone to do something.

-십시오. / -으십시오. - very polite formal.

-세요. / -으세요. - polite formal, polite informal.

-아요. / -어요. / -여요. - polite informal.

-아. / -어. / -여. - casual.

-아라. / -어라. / -여라. - depending on the tone of the speaker it can be casual just like -아. / -어. / -여., or strong and harsh.
