How to use Korean Grammar V + (으)ㄹ 뻔하다

Verb + / 을 뻔하다

ㄹ - if a word ends in a vowel or ㄹ, 을 - if it ends in a consonant (except ㄹ)

In the Korean language, -ㄹ / -을 뻔하다 is used to indicate that something was about to happen but did not happen in the end. -ㄹ / -을 뻔하다 can be translated as "almost", "nearly".
