Consecutive actions in Korean

Verb + 아서 / 어서 / 여서

The Korean grammar construction -아서 / -어서 / -여서 are used to connect two consecutive actions performed by the same person, where the second action is not possible without the first. -아서 / -어서 / -여서 are translated as "then", "after that".

Verb / Adj. stem in Korean: part of a verb or adj. which is left after removing the last syllable -다 ( e.g. 가다 → 가, 예쁘다 → 예쁘, 듣다 → 듣 ).
